July month is known as Mandela Month to honour the memory of the Late Mr Nelson Mandela. On the 18th July (his birth date) all South Africans are inspired to do 56 minutes of community upliftment work.
This year, the Nyezane Crèche was lucky to be chosen by the Simanisa Organization for their 56 minutes of community work. They visited the crèche, played with the children and donated amongst others:

Specially treated play sand for the sand pit

A small trampoline

Mattresses and children’s blankets

Toys

Sweet packs for the children.
The children and staff had a great time with the Organizers and were sad to see them leave after their 56 minutes.
The educators each received a T-shirt and cap as can be seen on the one photo of Pamela, Cabangile and Zandile.
The pre-school class children will be visiting the Twinstreams Environmental Center on Wednesday 7th August and we will be posting photos of their visit soon.
We would like to once again thank our Donors for their valuable contributions towards Nyezane Crèche - we currently have 97 very happy children and 5 staff members at the Crèche and would not be able to render this important services without your kind assistance.
